Description

This sculpture is a mixed media piece that is made from ceramics (body) and metal saw blades (wings). The beak is metal and the eyes are custom glass. The bird is perched on a wire nest, and the stand is made from scrap metal with a glass background.

The color is painted with an added shimmer from a luminous coating.

The bird can be removed from the nest, and the top section is removed from the stand for shipping. Total height is about 5’6 and the piece weighs about 140 pounds.
